Department of Economics
The Department of Economics is one of the oldest departments in the Bhagalpur National collage Bhagalpur. It was established in 1960as an independent department for teaching economics to intermediate and graduate students. The present building of department came into existence in 2003 under the supervision of dynamic and skilled faculty .Currently this department is running with 01 regular Assistant professor, 01 Guest faculty member. The department is committed to offer teaching to intermediate and graduate level students. CBCS syllabus in prescribed course of MJC, MIC and MDC economies with its applicable knowledge in practical world for the students’ .This course provides an all – inclusive knowledge to exclusive knowledge for understanding Micro Economics, Indian Economy, Macro Economics and Public Finance, Development and Environmental Economics , Statistics’ Mathematical Economics, Demography, Econometrics, Banking and Financial Marketing, Industrial Economics, Regional Economics, Agriculture Economics, Economics of Social and Environmental Issues, . The course is covered with classroom teaching learning process. Faculty have been published several research articles in journals of national and international.
