NCC IN B. N. COLLEGE BHAGALPUR

The ‘Aims’ of the NCC laid out in 1988 have stood the test of time and continue to meet the requirements expected of it in the current socio–economic scenario of the country. The NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. Further, it aims at creating a pool of organized, trained and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life, who will serve the Nation regardless of which career they choose. Needless to say, the NCC also provides an environment conducive to motivating young Indians to join the armed forces.

In the fulfillment of all above the aims of NCC the B.N. College Bhagalpur is playing a great role. Because this college is giving a number of well disciplined, motivated, trained and well established cadets to the society and country. From the starting of the NCC in the college, various cadets are prepared for the welfare of the society. In this great work this college organize various activities for the cadets. At that time total 160 students are registered from various classes for various certificates like certificate grade ‘B’ and ‘C’.

The NCC of B. N. College is controlled by 23 Bihar BN NCC Bhagalpur, various programs and activities are organize by the battalion, all the rules and order comes from the battalion all the cadets follow with full enthusiasm.

  • Due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation 5 days camp organized by the battalion in the University stadium from 15th of Feb 2021 to 20th of Feb
  • On the 26th of January 2020 all the cadets of NCC participated in the Republic day parade in the playground of N. College Bhagalpur and University Stadium. They mesmerized the spectators by their soulful performance.
  • Many cadets gave grade ‘B’ exam at the center Zila school Bhagalpur on the date of 23.02.2020 to 02.2021.
  • All the cadets has been played vital role during the recent COVID-19 pandemic situation under the direction of the Battalion for the betterment of society and the lockdown affected

Note- All the cadets are feeling motivated, enthusiastic and elated to participate/have been participated as corona warrior and social worker. I hope and ensure that NCC will further work with greater enthusiasm and morale.
